Privacy Policy

Who we are. Deluxerie is operated by MBU Trade B.V., Weteringweg 18, 2641 KM Pijnacker, the Netherlands (KvK 96968168). For anything about your data, write to customerservice@deluxerie.com.

What we collect, and why

Orders. When you order, we process your name, delivery and billing address, email and phone number — to fulfil the contract: process payment, deliver your parcel, and handle returns or questions. Without these, we can't ship to you.

Your account. If you create one: email, phone, a display name and your password (stored only as a secure hash — we can never read it). Sign-in codes and reset links are short-lived and single-use.

Reviews. If you leave a review, we store your review text, rating, optional photos and your email. Your name is shown only as first name plus last initial (e.g. "Anna K.") — never your full name. Review text is translated once into our store languages using AI translation services, so shoppers everywhere can read it. We may email you once to invite you to share your review on Trustpilot as well.

Newsletter & stock alerts. Your email address and language, only when you subscribe or ask to be notified. Every email includes a working unsubscribe link.

Order lookup. The track-your-order tool only shows an order when both the order number and the matching email or phone are entered — it never reveals your address or contact details.

Payments. Handled by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — you enter it directly into Stripe's secure payment fields. We see only that payment succeeded, never your card details. Your statement shows "MBU TRADE" and your order number — never the product or store name.

Who receives your data

Only partners needed to run the store, and only what each needs:

Stripe (payment processing)
Delivery partners — depending on your country: GLS, FedEx, DHL eCommerce, PPL, Slovak Post, Czech Post, ExpressOne (name, address, phone and email, for delivery and delivery updates)
Amazon Web Services (sending our emails)
Cloudflare (site security and performance)
Hetzner and Netcup (EU hosting, Germany)
AI translation providers (review text only, for translation)

We never sell your data, and we don't share it for third-party advertising.

How long we keep it

Order records: as long as the law requires (Dutch fiscal law: up to 7 years). Checkout session data: up to 90 days. Guest cart: 180 days. Cookie choices: 6 months. Sign-in codes: minutes. Everything else: only as long as it serves the purpose above.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, a copy (portability), or object to processing — write to customerservice@deluxerie.com. Account deletion requests are reviewed and processed manually by our team; we confirm by email once done. Data we must keep by law (completed order records) is retained for the legal period. You can also complain to the Dutch data-protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

One more thing

Deluxerie is a store for adults. Our site and communications are not directed at anyone under 18.
