Right of withdrawal

With a distance purchase, you have a period of 14 days as a legal reflection period. DELUXERIE applies the right of withdrawal, the legal term of which is 14 days, to its customers as 30 days. Within a period of 30 days after placing your order, you have the right to withdraw this order without further stating reasons (legal right of withdrawal). You must notify us in writing or via our withdrawal form. If the goods have already been delivered, you can withdraw your order within the period of 30 days by returning the goods already delivered.

Consequences of the right of withdrawal:
In the event that the revocation is successful, any goods, services or funds declared by both parties will be returned and any accumulated funds will be released. If the goods are damaged after delivery, the customer must pay compensation. In order to avoid compensation, we advise you not to use the goods that could lead to a decrease in value. If you owe compensation as a result of damage to the products, it will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

What are the exceptions to the right of withdrawal?
Below you will find a list of the most important exceptions to the right of withdrawal.

1. Travel, transport, accommodation, catering or other leisure activities.
2. Single magazines or newspapers.
3. Please note: if you take out a subscription to a magazine or newspaper via the internet, by telephone or on the street, the cooling-off period of 14 days does apply!
4. Products that you have specially made, for example a tailor-made suit, printed matter, a photo album or jewelry to your own design.
5. Products that can spoil quickly or have a limited shelf life, such as food or flowers.
6. Products that are not suitable to be returned for health or hygiene reasons. You may not break the seal after delivery, otherwise you are no longer entitled to a reflection period. Examples include underwear and swimwear.
7. An order by telephone or an order via the internet from a company that does not focus on distance selling, for example a telephone order from a butcher.
8. CDs and DVDs of which the seal has been broken after delivery.
9. Buy a digital product (film, music, games) that you can download via the internet, stating that you want to have it within 14 days and that you have stated that you will not wish to take up your reflection period. The seller must confirm this before downloading the product.
10. Emergency repairs: if you ask a company to come by for a repair or maintenance that cannot wait, for example in the event of a leak or a broken heating system.
11. A service (for example, painting job) that is already completely ready within the reflection period. You must have explicitly agreed to the start within the cooling-off period and stated that you are renouncing the cooling-off period.

Pay attention; given the nature of our company and the nature of our goods, the exclusion of the right of withdrawal under number 6 in particular is very relevant.

The withdrawal is free of charge for our customers. If you have paid your invoice, the amount paid must be refunded within 14 days after the day of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal, provided that your return has been received by DELUXERIE.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation of an order can only be made if your order has not yet been shipped or is not ready to ship (you can see the status of your order by logging into your account). Your order cannot be canceled after it has been shipped. If you make your cancellation request after your order has been shipped, you must follow the steps specified in our return policy, as the conditions specified in our return policy will apply.
